A highly competent, motivated and committed executive with 43 years professional experience in private sector, public sector and joint sector industries. He worked in Tata Steel for 16 years and war ranked as one of its finest executives. In 1972, he was assigned to set up Tata’s and U.P. Government’s first joint sector-Almora Magnesite Limited project in the hills of U.P. This was then the first industrial project of this magnitude in the Himalayas. In 1975, he joined UP State Mineral Development Corporation where he worked for 10 years progressively as Chief of Projects, General Manager and Director (Technical). He set up 9 mining and 3 industrial projects in Greenfield sites. He independently planned two large mineral-based projects and served a multi-national high-tech joint sector industrial project as its executive chief for infrastructure & project.
